Let's Worry About Everyone ElseOh Facebook! What a wonderful tool! Wonderful, but yet completely scary! Facebook gives people the opporturnity to sit back and watch the lives of their friends unfold. In my opinion, Facebook is a horrible tool, yet it is used religiously. It gives people the oppurtunity to snoop around and worry about their closest friends and even their enemies. The Facebook motto should be, "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer." It allows people to step outside of their drama filled world and step right into someone elses. Rather your friend be sitting right next to you or even in a whole other country, you can find them and talk to them. Once you become friends you have stepped inside their lives and inside their drama. Everyone enjoys watching everyone else have a horrible day, it's only human. When someone gets the chance to sit back and watch someone else, other then themselves, have a bad day, it ironically is a good day! Join Facebook and have a good day!

I guess it does bother me that everyone that is a friend can read my comments because they are place in the feed on your home page. That's always in my mind. So much so that I have began writing things and then completely just discarded it, afraid of someone seeing it.

I disagree. There are such things as privacy settings, where people aren't allowed to see certain aspects of your profile or page. If people are smart about it, no one has to see the things you don't want shown. Plus, if you don't want others seeing stuff, don't post it.
P.S. You spelled enemies wrong in your post.
I am always careful of what i say on facebook because I know anyone can can read it.
Great point. I really think people do get way into those comments and just don't think of how people will react.
Ah..facebook. You are so right. It is a great way to be nosey. Sometimes I think that is good though. Like if someone has had a breakup, at least you know, when you see them why they are so down.
I told you this the first day, but this is a great idea for a blog. People really do get addicted to Facebook. I know I am haha.
