Facebook: A Social Outrage

Facebook: A social utility that connects you with the people around you.

As you log onto Facebook this is the title you see and the first things that you read. Facebook was started by Harvard students that was directed only to college students. Now, Facebook is a world-wide service with over 31 million users. Facebook allows individuals to meet people and to join groups and be invited to events with the activities that are around you. Facebook allows you to see pictures of your friends, write them notes, and post videos for others to see. Try it out and see what you think!

I love facebook! it is a good way for people to keep in touch even though it is very informal. And i know me and my friends take tons of pictures and i dont have a camera so i just get on facebook and look at tha pics and copy them to my computer so i can print them too. It as also a good way to meet new people at ur school. i have met so many people this year and hopefully some new friends in the future!!

I did an article for Spanish class about Facebook and its origins, similar to your post. I think you should compare Facebook to MySpace, with the number of users, pros, cons, etc. That would be an interesting blog to read.

It is a good way to stay connected and stuff with their high school buddies, but do you think sometimes the creators take it too far with the fish and music and things?
